Repeated Neighbours Sudoku Challenge (DSL #1)

This is my first Sudoku for The League of Extraordinary Ladies & Gentlemen. Double thanks to Prasanna, first for testing this Sudoku and suggesting posting this one among the 4 Sudokus given to him for testing. Secondly, thanks to him for giving me his time slot in this Sudoku League for posting my Sudoku.

This is an easy puzzle I am starting with. Hope you will enjoy this. I am looking forward to posting regularly for The League of Extraordinary Ladies & Gentlemen.

Rules of Repeated Neighbours Sudoku

Place a digit from 1 to 9 in each empty cell so that each digit appears exactly once in each row, column, and outlined region. Each shaded cell must have repeating orthogonal neighbours (neighbors sharing an edge). White cells must have distinct orthogonal neighbours.
