The 16th World Puzzle Championship (WPC) took place 6 - 11 October 2007 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The organizer was WPF member Brazil, to be specific Ediouro Publicações, the largest puzzle publisher in Brazil.
Individual winner, after an exciting final, was Pal Madarassy from Hungary. Second was Thomas Snyder (right, USA) and third Ulrich Voigt (left, Germany). Best team was team USA.
