Missing Sudoku is an interesting variation of the classic Sudoku puzzle that uses only the digits 1 to 7 instead of the usual 1 to 9. Every row, every column, and every 3×3 box must contain each of these seven digits exactly once, while the digits 8 and 9 are completely missing from the grid. Although the rules are simple, this small change creates a fresh solving experience and requires a different approach from regular Sudoku. This puzzle first appeared at the World Sudoku Championship 2009 and was later created for Team India practice before being included in the Fun With Sudoku series.
Rules of the Missing Sudoku
Fill in the grid so that every row, every column, and every 3x3 box contains all digits 1 through 7 exactly once. Digits 8 and 9 are missing.
