This is a very old puzzle that I created for the 10th 24-hour Championship.
I have seen this puzzle appearing in the following championships
Even though I published this puzzle in 2010, I wanted to republish it after improving its graphics. The graphics of this puzzle look very simple, but I had a tough time creating an image for it. The reason is that I use MS Excel to create graphics, and now becoming very comfortable with creating any puzzle images using Excel. During my stay in Mumbai for the Times Sudoku Championship 2014, I got feedback from Rohan that the Puzzles/Sudoku I create do not have an exact square. He was quite right. Yes, the Sudoku grid I was creating did not have an exact square shape. I checked in the Excel sheet that the cells are vertically and horizontally have exactly the same size, but still, due to a bug in MS Excel, while showing a print preview, it was distorting this size. I corrected this problem after switching views in Excel. But for this, I was hit by another problem. MS Excel distorts the shapes inserted in the sheet, too. I had a very tough time keeping circles in this Sudoku as a perfect circle.
I am re-publishing this Tripod Sudoku as the 12th Sudoku of the Fun With Sudoku Series. Can you solve this Tripod Sudoku puzzle?
Rules of Tripod Sudoku
