Wolves in Polygraph is an original puzzle variation that I created for the "Contest for Best Logic Innovation." This puzzle combines classical loop-drawing mechanics with an additional outside/inside deduction element involving wolves. Solvers must carefully interpret both the clues inside and outside the loop while ensuring that every wolf remains outside the completed loop. If you enjoy logic loop puzzles such as Slitherlink, Rundweg, and other path-drawing challenges, then this innovative puzzle type offers a fresh and entertaining solving experience.
Wolves in Polygraph Puzzle Instructions
Draw a single continuous loop by connecting neighboring dots horizontally or vertically. The clues inside the loop indicate the number of its edges used by the loop. The clues outside the loop indicate the number of its edges NOT used by the loop. Wolves (represented by W) should always be outside the loop.
