Hitori is a very famous Japanese-origin puzzle type. This puzzle type is also known as All Alone, as in this puzzle, no two of the same number can come in the same row or column. This is a classic puzzle type that regularly appears in the World Puzzle Championships.

All Alone or Hitori Puzzle Instructions

 
Black out some of the digits in the grid so that each row and each column contains only different digits. Black cells must not touch horizontally or vertically, and all non-black cells must remain interconnected.
