Along the Lines puzzle is a famous puzzle type that is also known by the name 'Four Winds'. The name 'Four Winds' is used when this puzzle type appears in any of the puzzle competitions, esp. The World Puzzle Championships.
To solve this puzzle type, one needs to find out the squares where only one given number can be reached. Once you connect that square with the origin, then it will block some of the squares which earlier could have been reached by many numbers. Thus, this puzzle can be solved easily.

Along The Lines Puzzle Instructions
From each numbered cell, one or more horizontal or vertical lines are to be drawn. The number shows how many cells are to be covered by lines originating in that cell. This number excludes the numbered cell itself. Lines do not overlap or cross one another. All cells should contain either a number or a line segment.
