Inside/Outside Corral (Mini Puzzles Series #20)

This puzzle is a variation of the Cave puzzle, which holds a special place for me. The cave puzzle was the first puzzle I ever created in my life. It was also among the first puzzles I published on Fun With Puzzles. In fact, I started this blog after posting a Cave puzzle. So this type means a lot to me. Inside/Outside Corral is a variation of that puzzle. The rule is different, but it has the same feel.

I made this puzzle for the US Puzzle Championship 2009. It is a loop puzzle where you draw a single closed line along the grid lines. The numbers inside and outside the loop tell you how many squares you can see in a straight line. This is the 20th puzzle in the Mini Puzzles Series. I will soon repost the original Cave puzzle, so keep an eye out. I hope you enjoy this one.

Rules of the Inside/Outside Corral

Draw a single closed loop along the grid lines. If a number is inside the loop, then it equals the count of interior squares that are directly in line (horizontally and vertically) with that number's square, including the square itself. Similarly, if a number is outside the loop, then it equals the count of exterior squares that are directly in line with that number's square, including the square itself.
