LITS (Mini Puzzles Series #2)

Welcome to a puzzle that's a personal favorite of mine! LITS is a fantastic logic puzzle that I first encountered in 2009, and it's been a staple in competitions like the Indian Puzzle Championship 2015. This is the first puzzle of this type I created for the Indian Puzzle Team's practice for the 18th World Puzzle Championship, and it's now being republished as the 2nd puzzle in our Mini Puzzles Series. The rules are engaging: blacken four cells in each outlined area so that each area contains one tetromino shape (a shape made of four connected squares). Tetrominoes can be rotated or mirrored, and the blackened cells must form a single interconnected area with no 2x2 blocks fully painted black. Additionally, the same tetrominoes cannot touch each other on the sides, though they may touch diagonally.

This puzzle is a great way to practice spatial reasoning and is perfect for a focused solving session. Enjoy this classic LITS challenge!
