This puzzle is called Akkara Snake. It first appeared in the Oğuz Atay Puzzle Contest (OAPC) a long time back. I made this puzzle when I was preparing for that competition. Now I'm sharing it again as the 3rd puzzle in our Logical Puzzles Series. The puzzle is a fun and interesting logic challenge.
The rules are simple. You have to paint some cells to make a single snake. The snake cannot touch itself, even at the corners. The numbers in the grid are clues. They tell you how many painted or unpainted cells are next to them. This puzzle is a great way to practice your logic skills.
Rules of the Akkara Snake puzzle
Paint some cells to form a single snake that does not touch itself even diagonally. Painted numbers indicate the number of unpainted neighboring cells (including diagonals). Unpainted numbers indicate the number of painted neighboring cells (including diagonals).
