This puzzle is from the 11th 24-Hour Championship held in 2010. I made a few puzzles of this type for that event, and this one was chosen for the competition. Now I'm sharing it again as the 5th puzzle in our Logical Puzzles Series. The puzzle is called Easy As Jigsaw ABC, and it's a fun way to practice letter placement.
The outside clues are your main guide. They tell you the first letter you see from that side. This helps you figure out where to place the letters. This puzzle is perfect for anyone who wants to try a different kind of logic puzzle. It's also a good way to get ready for puzzle competitions.
Rules of the Easy As Jigsaw ABC puzzle
Place letters A-D so that in each row, in each column, in each outlined area, and in the remaining gray cells inside the grid, there will exist precisely one of each letter A, B, C, and D. The letters outside the grid indicate the letter seen first in the corresponding direction.
