Smashed Sums Sudoku is a creative and challenging variation of classic Sudoku that adds an extra layer of mathematical logic. In this puzzle, some cells are removed or blocked, and the remaining structure is guided by sum-based clues placed around the grid. These clues indicate the total of numbers between specific boundary points, which helps determine correct placements. Solvers must carefully combine standard Sudoku rules with these sum constraints to complete the puzzle accurately. This makes it a great exercise for improving logical reasoning, calculation skills, and advanced problem-solving ability.

Smashed Sums Sudoku Instructions
Place a digit from 1-7, or blacken each cell, such that each digit appears exactly once in each row, column, and marked 3×3 box. There will be 2 blackened cells in each row, column, and 3×3 box. Numbers outside the grid indicate the sum of cells between the blackened cells in the corresponding direction.
