If someone wants to improve their Sudoku solving skills and wants to get better at Sudoku competitions, then getting mastery over Classic Sudoku is a must. One should be an expert in solving Classic Sudoku to get a good rank. In the past few months, I have tried to improve my Classic Sudoku solving speed, and to my surprise, I have also automatically improved in solving Sudoku variations.
Many competitions are going on around Sudoku, especially in India. Recently, we had Sudoku Mahabharat and Indian Sudoku Championship finals in Chennai in the month of July 2016. Currently, the Times Sudoku Championship is going on, and the finals of TSC 2016 will be held this coming weekend in Mumbai. After this, there will be Brain Games in many of the Indian cities in which Sudoku and Puzzles will be part of these brain games, along with Chess, Crossword, and other brain games. I have been the winner of Bangalore Brain Games' last edition for both Sudoku and Puzzles, and eagerly looking forward to this year's edition of Brain Games. Also, this year, the Indian Sudoku League (ISKL) 2016 is planned. There is not much information regarding ISKL 2016 as of now, but tentatively, the Indian Sudoku League will be held around the 2016 year-end. I will post more information regarding this once anything concrete comes out for this championship. Anyway, Classic Sudoku will always be part of any of these championships. So keep practicing for Classic Sudoku. These are easy Sudoku puzzles to be solved in less than 3 minutes each.
