This is one of my favorite puzzle types. This is an ancient puzzle of this type created by me. This puzzle was created around the year 2009 when I started this website. During that time, it was very difficult to create the puzzle images, so Excel was used to create them.
This Corral Puzzle is an easy one. If you are new to this puzzle type, you can use this puzzle to understand the rules of the Corral puzzle type.
Rules of the Corral Puzzle
Paint some of the squares black to create a continuous wall, known as Corral. Any part of the Corral does not touch itself, not even at a diagonal. The numbers given outside measure how many unbroken lines of painted squares are in any given row or column. For example, a clue of "4 8 3" would mean there are sets of four, eight, and three filled squares, not necessarily in order, with at least one blank square between successive groups. No part of Corral can form a 2x2 square.
