Coral Finder Puzzles (QC-36): Hidden Reef Challenges

Coral Finder is a fascinating logic puzzle in which you must discover a hidden coral reef concealed within a grid of sea squares. Using the numerical clues provided for each row and column, solvers must determine which squares belong to the reef while ensuring that all reef sections form a single connected shape. Similar to other shading puzzles and deduction puzzles, Coral Finder requires careful logical thinking, pattern recognition, and attention to detail, making it an excellent challenge for puzzle enthusiasts of all skill levels.

Coral Finder Puzzle Instructions

The grid represents a sea with a hidden coral reef. Paint some squares to create a contiguous reef (diagonal continuity is not enough). Reef sections do not touch each other, not even diagonally. In addition, there cannot be any 2 by 2 areas in which all four squares are painted.
The numbers show the length of the sequences to be painted in the given row or column. To complicate matters, sequence sizes are given in ascending order and not necessarily in order of occurrence.
