The last, 7th, round of the WPF Grand Prix 2014 Sudoku championship will be held from 4th to 7th July 2014. This is the Indian round of the Grand Prix Sudoku Championship. Most of the puzzle types appearing in this championship, like Repeated Neighbors Sudoku, Point to Next Sudoku, Irregular Sudoku, etc., are already published in this blog. This week I will be publishing some of the other types which are missing here, starting with Anti Knight Sudoku. These puzzles can be used to practice for the WPF Grand Prix 2014 Sudoku Championship. Anti Knight Sudoku is also known by the name No Knight Step Sudoku.
Regarding this Anti Knight Sudoku, this puzzle is not very tough. For expert Sudoku solvers, this puzzle will be a smooth ride, but for beginners, there will be at least one stop where they have to think of the next step.
This Anti Knight Sudoku puzzle is my contribution to The League of Extraordinary Ladies and Gentlemen as the 40th Sudoku puzzle in this series.
Rules of Anti Knight Sudoku
Classic Sudoku Rules apply. Additionally, the knight's move constraint applies: no two digits that are a knight's move apart (as in chess) can be the same.
