Welcome to a puzzle that brings a touch of the casino to our Daily Sudoku League! Today's Bust Sudoku is a creative variant inspired by the game of Blackjack. While classic Sudoku rules form the foundation, the clues outside the grid work differently. Each external number indicates how many of the first digits in that row or column, when added together from that side, have a sum that is greater than 21—the "bust" number. This unique rule requires you to think about addition and counting in a new way. Are you ready to test your luck and logic with this innovative puzzle? Let's find out if you can avoid the bust!
This Sudoku puzzle is my 42nd contribution to the Daily Sudoku League. Can you solve this Bust Sudoku puzzle?
Rules of Bust Sudoku
Classic Sudoku Rules apply. Additionally, the clues outside the grid indicate the number of first cells such that the sum of the digits in these cells in the corresponding direction is greater than 21. (Note: The name Bust comes from the game Blackjack, where going over 21 means busting.)
