Today's Frame 1~9 Sudoku is a special puzzle from my older stock, created for practice for a Sudoku championship where this type appeared. This tough variant, my 55th contribution to the Daily Sudoku League, uses a unique clue system based on the positions of 1 and 9. The rules are intricate: outside clues are sums of digits found before the first 1/9, between 1 and 9, or after the second 1/9. This puzzle is a great test of your ability to work with complex positional information. Let's see if you can master this classic challenge.
Rules of Frame 1~9 Sudoku
Classic Sudoku Rules apply. Additionally, clues outside the grid indicate the sums of digits
a) between the digits 1 and 9
or
b) after the second seen 1/9
or
c) before the first seen 1/9
Clues are written in increasing order.
