Welcome to a puzzle that adds a fascinating pattern-recognition element to your Sudoku solving! This Series Sudoku is a unique variant I created for the 21st Indian Sudoku Mock Test, and it's now being republished as the 9th puzzle in our Fun With Sudoku Series. The rule is simple but intriguing: greyed cells within the grid can only contain numbers from a given series. The numbers in the series follow a specific pattern, and while all numbers are provided, repetitions within the series should be ignored during solving.
This puzzle was originally designed to let solvers solve two puzzles at once—first identifying the series pattern, then solving the Sudoku. While the final version provides the series numbers directly, the challenge of recognizing the pattern remains. It's a great way to practice combining pattern recognition with classic Sudoku logic.
