Did you know that Sudoku was once called Number Place? The name Sudoku is actually a trademark in Japan, and the championship there is still called the Number Place Championship. This puzzle is a Classic Sudoku, but I am posting it under its original name. It is a standard 9x9 grid with no extra rules, just pure logic.
This is the 59th puzzle in the Fun With Sudoku Series. If you like classic Sudoku, this one is for you. It is a straightforward puzzle that lets you focus on the basics. Give it a try and enjoy the simple pleasure of number placement.
