Odd-Even View Sudoku is an interesting Sudoku variation that combines the classic Sudoku rules with clever outside parity clues. Along with placing the digits 1 to 9 correctly in every row, column, and 3×3 box, the clue outside the grid tells you whether the first visible digit from that direction is odd or even. The first visible number may appear immediately or after one or more cells, making every outside clue an important part of the logical deduction process. These simple clues create a refreshing and enjoyable Sudoku challenge.
The puzzle rewards careful observation because every placement can affect what is seen from the outside of the grid. If you enjoy Sudoku variants that combine parity concepts with outside clues, this handcrafted puzzle offers a satisfying solving experience based entirely on logical reasoning.
Rules of Odd-Even View Sudoku
Classic Sudoku Rules apply. Additionally, an even (2 4 6 8) digit outside the grid must be the first even digit seen from that direction, and an odd (1 3 5 7 9) digit outside the grid must be the first odd digit seen from that direction.
