Dot-Rundweg is an innovative puzzle variation that combines the rules of Dot puzzles with the classic Rundweg puzzle, which is also known as the popular Fences puzzle. By blending loop construction with black-and-white circle constraints, this puzzle type offers a fresh and engaging logical challenge. I created three Dot-Rundweg puzzles, all of which are published on this website. If you enjoy loop puzzles such as Masyu, Slitherlink, and Rundweg, then this puzzle type provides an interesting mix of familiar concepts with a unique twist. Try solving this puzzle and see if you can complete the loop using pure logical deduction.
Dot-Rundweg Puzzle Instructions
Draw a loop in the diagram following the grid lines that does not touch or cross itself. A digit in a cell indicates the number of its edges used by the loop.
The loop should pass through all the circles (both black and white). The circles in the diagram follow the following rules:
1. The path must turn at every black circle.
2. The path cannot turn at any white circle, but must turn immediately before and/or after.
