Mixing two Sudoku types is a fun way to create a new puzzle. I have seen this type of puzzle in many championships. This Irregular Even Odd Sudoku is an old puzzle I made years ago. It remained unpublished for a long time. The puzzle mixes two rules: Even Odd Sudoku and Irregular Sudoku. The idea is to create a puzzle that is solvable using only the rules from both types.
The puzzle uses irregular shapes instead of the usual 3x3 boxes. It also has even and odd rules. This makes it a bit different from standard Sudoku. This puzzle is a great way to practice hybrid logic. It's also a good example of how combining rules can make a fun new challenge.
This Irregular Even-Odd Sudoku is the 81st Sudoku in the Fun With Sudoku Series.
Rules of the Irregular Even-Odd Sudoku
Even Odd Sudoku Rules apply. Additionally, fill in all the cells with numbers 1 to 9 so that the numbers in a row, a column, and an outlined region do not repeat.
