Snail Sudoku is one of my favorite Sudoku variants and has appeared in several prestigious puzzle competitions, including the Oğuz Atay Puzzle Contests (OAPC) and The Last Sudoku Competition Before the World Sudoku Championship (TLSCBWSC-1). Unlike a classic Sudoku, this puzzle uses spiral-shaped regions that create an additional layer of logical deduction. If you enjoy solving Sudoku Variations and other challenging logic puzzles, then this Snail Sudoku will provide an entertaining test of both visual tracking and logical reasoning. Can you solve it without looking at the answer?
Rules of Snail Sudoku
Fill the grid with digits 1~4 so that each digit appears exactly once in every row, column, and every 3x3 spiral. Digits should be placed orderly in the spirals, from the entrance to the center. The numbers outside the grid indicate the first seen number from that direction.
