Unknownsaid...Its PEMDAS so the answer is 1

August 17, 2018Rajesh Kumarsaid...No, by using PEMDAS of BODMAS the answer will be 9.

April 09, 2019Dhzero0said...No it is 1 by the distributive law. A(B+C)<=>(AB+AC). Therefore 2(1+2)=(2+4). So the problem can be rewritten as 6/(2+4) which is 1. If you want your 9 write the problem like 6÷2×(1+2) .... don't use the implied multiplication.... or better yet don't use ÷.rewrite the problem as:

6

------ = ?

2(1+2)

Or

6

- × (1+2) =?

2
